Keets, 3 days old

We put little braces on three of the keets because they had splayed legs. Spayed leg is when keets don't get sure footing when their muscles are developing and their legs go out to the sides. To cure it is easy: just take a rubber band, band-aid or pipe cleaner and wrap it around the keets legs. In a few days they should be walking just fine. Two of the keets we splinted are walking normally after wearing the brace for just one day. This one is still having a hard time walking so we put the splint back on...we named her Ilene.
